The EPS Vector files are the better version to use if your software can support the file type! The vector files can be resized easily without compromising image quality. The logos below are cross-platform. They are all compressed using Zip, and will have to be unarchived before use. To unzip the files, you will need a utility like WinZip or Windows XP (for PC) or Aladdin Unstuffit (Mac). Once you have an uncompressed file, you can use the “import” feature to bring it into whichever program you're using. There is never a need to “open” the file itself. |

Please, keep in mind that the portrait of George or the stacked wordmark should be displayed no smaller than 1" across. The linear version should be displayed no smaller than 3" wide. Failure to comply to these recommendations are likely to result in poor image quality. PLEASE BE AWARE that while it is ok to scale the images to a size that works with your specific project, please DO NOT alter the images or colors, skew the image, import it at non-proportional sizes, or use it far beyond the optimal sizes listed above. Please do not use the full color marks in anything but 4-color printing. These are not meant to be photocopied or faxed. If you need more assistance, please reference the GW Graphic Standards Manual, or give us a call at 202-994-0500. |
